Acts 14-15: Standing Firm When the Enemy Attacks

In Acts 14-15, the Apostle Paul faced three powerful attacks from the enemy: pride, fear, and confusion. After being mistaken for a god, Paul refused to take the glory for himself and pointed people back to Jesus. When he was stoned and left for dead, he got back up and continued preaching the gospel. And when false teachers tried to add requirements to salvation, Paul boldly defended the truth that we are saved by grace through Jesus Christ alone.  

The same tactics are still used today. Pride tempts us to seek our own glory, fear distracts us from God's mission, and confusion distorts the truth of the gospel. But when our identity is rooted in Christ instead of circumstances or the opinions of others, we can stand firm no matter what comes our way.
